light will come on. Tap the pad until the light
appears next to the desired setting.
Use the following chart to determine the
best setting to use.
 Ex p r es sCh i l l can be set to 15, 30 or 45
minutes. The default is 15 minutes.
 To st o p a f e a t u r e b ef o r e i t i s f i n is h ed :
tap that feature’s pad until no options are
selected and the display is off.
 During Ex p r es sTh a w and Ex p r es s Chi l l , t h e
display on the controls will count down the
time in the cycle (on some models).
 After the Ex p r es sTh a w cycle is complete,
the pan will reset to the MEAT setting (32°F
[0°C]) to help preserve thawed items until
they are used.
 Th e d i sp l a y e d a c t u a l t e m p e r a t u r e o f t h e
Cu st o m Coo l pan may vary slightly from
the SET temperature based on usage and
operating environment.
NOTE: Fo r f o od sa f et y r ea so ns, i t i s
recommended that foods be wrapped in plastic
wrap when using Ex p r es s Th a w . This will help
contain meat juices and improve thawing
performance.

chill items, thaw items or hold the pan at a
specific temperature. This feature is a system of
dampers, a fan, a temperature thermistor and
a heater.

fluctuations in the rest of the refrigerator.
Th e c o n t ro l s f o r t h i s p a n a r e l o c a t ed o n t h e
dispenser with the temperature controls.
