USING THE SETUP MENU
A Little More about Your Options

(Letterbox)
Select this for conventional size televisions. The aspect ratio is
selected according to the disc played.
4 : 3
(Pan/Scan)
Select this for conventional size televisions. All video material is
played to fit a 4:3 screen.
16 : 9
(Widescreen)
Select this for wide-screen televisions.
Turning the On-Screen Messages
Feature On or Off
Use this feature to turn on or turn off the messages that appear
on-screen when you use certain features.
