JASCO Products warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects for a period
of two years from the original date of consumer purchase. This warranty is limited to
the repair or replacement of this product only and does not extend to consequential or
incidental damage to other products that may be used with this product. This warranty is
in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. Some states do not allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts or permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damage, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives
you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

1. Follow the instructions for your Z-wave certified
controller to include the smart switch to the Z-wave
network.
2. Once the controller is ready to include your outdoor
smart switch, single press and release the manual/
program button on the smart switch to include it in
the network.
Note: Your smart switch may need to be within 10 feet
of the controller to be included. If so, include the outdoor
switch to the network within short range of the controller.
3. Once your controller has confirmed that the smart
switch has been included, refresh the Z-wave
network to optimize performance.
Please reference the controller/gateway’s manual
for instructions.
Now you have complete control to turn your device
ON/OFF according to groups, scenes, schedules and
interactive automations programmed by your controller.
If your Z-wave certified controller features Remote Access,
you can now control your lighting from your mobile devices.
Note: To exclude and reset the device, follow the
instructions provided by your Z-Wave controller.
Getting To Know Your New Z-Wave Device
Maximum load for the Z-Wave controlled outlet:

• Integrated outlet cover keeps dirt and debris out when the smart
switch is not in use

A. Manual/Program Button
Single press — turn On/Off
Single press — include or exclude in Z-Wave network
B. Z-Wave controlled outlet
This outlet can remotely turn the connected light or
appliance ON/OFF.
1. A mounting tab with screw key-hole is located at the top of this unit.
Install the included screw in the desired location leaving 3/16” of the
screw exposed.
2. Align the mounting tab with the screw head, slide the tab over the screw
and let the unit drop down to lock it in place.
IMPORTANT!
This unit is suitable for outdoor use in damp locations. Do not expose to
rain or immerise in water. Install at least 3ft. above ground level with the
receptacle pointed down. When used outdoors you should plug the unit
into a GFCI receptacle with a receptacle cover rated for outdoor use
The manual/program button on the outdoor
switch allows the user to:
Turn the connected lamp ON or OFF. If the outdoor
switch is OFF, press and release the button
once to turn it ON and vice versa to turn OFF.
Note: Plug switch directly into outlet.
Do not use with extension cords.
