qualityindicatorwillreecttheoverall10-secondleadquality.

•IfPreviewbeforeanalysisisenabled,thesystemsetupPromptlevelisdisregarded

andthesystemimmediatelydisplaysthePreviewscreen.Anyleadquality

messageswillbedisplayedinthisscreenalongwiththeoverall10-secondlead

qualityindicator.

Ineithercase,usersmaythendoeitherofthefollowing:

•SelectContinuetocontinue(printtheECG).

•SelectCanceltocancel.

StandardECGs

Usethefollowingmethodforresting,pediatric,vectorloop,and15–leadECGs.

1.Afterpreparingthepatient,selectthecorrectECGsoftkey.

•ToconductarestingECG,pressRestingECG.

•ToconductapediatricECG,pressPediatricECG.

•ToconductavectorloopsECG,pressVectorLoops.

•Toconducta15-leadECG,press15leadECG.

TheappropriateECGtestwindowopens.

NOTE:

Alloptionsmaynotbeavailable,dependingonsystemconguration.

3.AdjusttheECGsettingsasappropriate:

•Toselectadifferentsetofleads,pressLeads.

Alistofavailableleadsopens:

•Allleadsselectsalltheavailableleads.

•V1,II,V5selectstheidentiedleads.

•I,II,aVR,aVL,aVFselectstheidentiedleads.

•V1,V2,V3,V4,V5,V6selectstheidentiedleads.

•Leadcheckconductsacheckofallavailableleadsanddisplaystheir

results.

•Leadplacementconductsaleadcheckanddisplaysadiagramofthe

properplacementforeachlead.

•Toadjustthespeedwithwhichthewaveformsaredisplayed,press25mm/s.

Thisopensalistofavailablespeeds.Optionsinclude5mm/s,12.5mm/s,

25mm/s,and50mm/s.Thisaffectsonlythespeedofthewaveformasit

appearsonthescreenandreports;itdoesnotaffecttheactualspeedwith

whichtheECGisrecorded.Theselectedvalueappearsonthefunctionkey

onthescreen.

•ToadjustthegainoftheECG,press10mm/mV.
