Cleaning Your Freezer
:_ Outside.Protect the paint finish. The
finish on the outside el the fl'eezer is a
high quality, baked-on paint finish.

appliance polish wax when the ti'eezer
is new and then at least twice a year.

Keep the finish clean. X,_]pe with a clean
cloth lightly dampened with appliance
polish wax or mild liquid dishwashing
detergent. Dry and polish with a clean,
soft cloth. Do not wipe the ti'eezer with a
soiled dishwashing cloth or wet towel.
Do not use scouring pads, powdered
cleane_, bleach, or cleane_ containing
bleach.

least once a veax; X4'erecommend that the
fl'eezer be unplugged before cleaning. If
this is not practical, wring excess moisture
out of sponge or cloth when cleaning in
the vicinity of switches, lights or controls.
Use warm water and baking soda
solution-about a tablespoon of baking
soda to a quart of water: Rinse thoroughly
with water and wipe (h_': Do not use
cleaning powde_ or other abrasive
cleanelN.
An open box of baking soda in the
fl'eezer will absorb stale fl'eezer odo_.
Change the box exer} three months.

To Remove the Freezer Door (onUprightmodels)
_] Remove the plastic hinge co_er by To replace the (loo_, re_e_e the order of
either lifting it off or fi)lding it back the aboxe instructions.

_ Relnoxe the screws holding the hinge
to the top of the cabinet using a
screwdriver; 3/8" socket driver or
wrench (depending on model).
_] Remoxe the top hinge fl'om the cabinet
and lift the door up and off the lower
hinge pin. Set the door aside.
[_ Remove the two screws fl'om the bottom
hin ,e
