INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn o water supply and press the red button on housing to relieve
water pressure.
2. Open lter holder handle and remove clear plastic sump.
3. Twist lter 1/4 turn to remove from system. Discard the old lter.
4. Wash housing with warm soapy water and lubricate O-ring with food-
grade silicone grease.
5. Remove shrink wrap and install new lter by aligning the end cap wings
with the front of the unit, pressing into place, and twisting lter 1/4 turn.
6. Reassemble clear plastic sump and turn on water supply.
7. Open faucet for 10 minutes (40 gallons) to ush system, wait 1 hour
and repeat 10 minute (40 gallon ush).

Performance Data
This system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 for
the reduction of the substances listed at right. The concentration of the
indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a
concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving
the system, as specied in NSF/ANSI 42 and 53.

of unknown quality, without adequate disinfection before or after
the system. Systems certied for cyst reduction may be used on
disinfected water that may contain lterable cysts.
Damage to the product caused by accident, re, oods or acts of
God.
Incidental or consequential damage caused by possible defects
with this appliance, its installation or repair.

• How do I make a warranty claim?
Return to the retailer from which it was purchased, along with
a copy of the “Proof of Purchase.” A new or reconditioned unit
will be provided. This warranty excludes the cost of shipping the
product to your home.
EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES—Your sole and
exclusive remedy is product exchange as provided in this
Limited Warranty. Any implied warranties, including the implied
warranties of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose,
are limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law
