Using the dishwasher.
Check the Water Temperature
Theenteringwater shouldbeat least120°F(49°C)and not
morethan 150°F(66°C)foreffectivecleaningandto prevent
dishdamage.Checkthe watertemperaturewith a candyor
meatthermometer.
Turn on the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher,
place the thermometerin a glassand let the water run
continuouslyintothe glassuntilthetemperaturestopsrising.
Use a Rinse Agent
Rinseagents, such as Cascade®Complete Rinse Aid are designed for great drying action and to protect
against spots and film build-up on your dishes,glasses,flatware, cookware, and plastic.
Filling the Dispenser
The rinse agent dispenser holds 3.5 oz.(104 ml) of rinse agent. Under normal
conditions, this will last approximately one month.
r_ Makesurethe dishwasherdoorisfullyopen.
[] Turnthe dispensercapcounterclockwiseandliftout.
r_ Slowlyaddrinseagent untilthe cupisfull.Youmayneedto pauseseveraltimesto
allowrinseaidto settle.
r_ Cleanupany spilledrinseagentwith a dampclothto preventfoamfromforming
insidethe dishwasher.

r_ Replacethe dispensercap.
Rinse Aid Setting
The amount of rinse agent released into the final wash can be adjusted.
The factory setting is at the midpoint. Ifwater drops or hard water spots
remain on dishes after the dry cycle,
increasethe setting.
To adjust the setting
Removethe dispenser cap;
Turn the adjuster counterclockwise
to increasethe amount of rinse agent,
clockwise to reduce the amount of rinse
agent.
