Vivid E80/E90/E95 – Service Manual 8-75
GC091052 Rev. 3
8. The Ultrasound system is now nearly balanced between
one front caster and one rear caster.
9. Make the Ultrasound system rest on both Front Casters and
lift the Rear Caster.
Put the wooden wedge under the chassis. This will stabilize
the Ultrasound system with one rear caster free from the
floor. This rear caster can now be removed.
10. Unscrew and remove the fixing bolt. Save the bolt for later
use.
11. Remove the rear caster.
Install the Rear Casters
Follow this procedure to install the rear casters:
1. Align the caster, mounting it flat and toward the back.
2. Position the caster so it align with the hole for the fixing bolt.
3. Install the fixing bolt (M12x40 mm). Use a 10 mm HEX key,
Torque: 130 Nm.
4. Remove the wooden wedge.
5. Roll the Ultrasound system off the bevel edged board
(ramp).
6. To replace the other rear caster, repeat all the steps, starting
from ‘Remove the Rear Casters’ on page 8-74, but now
using the Bevel edged board and the wooden wedge on the
other side of the Ultrasound system.
7. Install the rear cover.
8. Install the rear bumper.
9. Install the side covers.
