Front End Processor (FEP) / Card Cage parts replacement

Vivid E80/E90/E95 – Service Manual 8-87

1. Power down the Ultrasound system.

2. Disconnect the Mains Power Cable from the wall outlet.

3. Disconnect all probes and external I/O cabling.

4. Remove the Right Side Cover.

Remove the FEP Cover

Follow these steps to remove the FEP Cover:

1. Unscrew the FEP Cover’s ten fixing screws.

2. Remove the FEP Cover.

Install the FEP Cover

NOTE: Do not use any tools when you tighten the finger screws.

1. Install the FEP Cover and fasten it with the ten fixing

screws.

Use your fingers to tighten the screws.

2. Install the side cover.
