Network IP Address Configuration
NOTE: Following Information must be provided by customer or hospital engineer before you can start:
A Station name, AE Title, IP address and Port Number for the Voluson® P8 / Voluson® P6.
The IP addresses for the default gateway and other routers at the site for ROUTING INFORMATION.
Only if necessary (e.g. for Internet access).
1.) Press the F2
key on the control panel.
2.) In the “Utilities” menu select SYSTEM SETUP to invoke the setup desktop on the screen.
3.) On the left side of the screen select CONNECTIVITY and then click the DEVICE SETUP tab.
4.) Click the NETWORK CONFIGURATION button, read the message and confirm with YES.
5.) The “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties” dialog page appears.
To specify a DICOM Address, follow the instructions of described in the Basic User Manual,
Chapter 13 of the Voluson® P8 / Voluson® P6.

message and afterwards confirm with [Yes]
If fixed IP address is required,
you need to ask your network
administrator for the appropriate
settings.
Type in:
IP address
Subnet mask
Default gateway
•DNS server
You can get IP and DNS
settings assigned
automatically,
if your network supports this
capability.
Note: This Example shows
fictional numbers.
