Toreplace the microwaveovenlamp, first
disconnectthe power at the main fuseor the
circuit breaker panel.
1.Removethe grillabovethemicrowaveoven,To
do so,openthe microwaveovendoor,thenremove
the2 screwsfromthebottomof thegrill.
2. Removethelightcoverby removingthe2 screws.
3. Removethetapearoundthebaseof thelight.The
tapeis thereto preventthelightfromloosening
duringshipmentanddoorclosings.Removingthe
tapemightbe difficult.
4. Unscrewthebulbcarefully.Usea clothto protect
yourhandsin casetheglassbreaks.
NOTE: Thelightis not’standard.Replaceit witha
similar125-volt,20-wattbulb,whichis available
fromyourGE supplier.
5. Screwthereplacementbulbintothe socketand
replacethelightcoverandgrill.Reconnectthe
powerto thecookingcenter.
OvenHeatingElemenh
Donot cleanthe bake elementor the broil element.
Anysoilwillburnoff whenthe elementsareheated.
Thebakeelementcanbe liftedgentlyto cleanthe
BroilElement
ovenfloor.If spillovers,residue-ora~haccumulate
BakeElement
aroundthebakeelementgentlywipearoundthe
elementwithwarmwater.
