Toremovethe door,openit a
fewinchesto thespecialstop
positionthatwillholdthedoor
open.Graspfirmlyon eachside
andlift thedoorstraightup and
offthehinges.
NOTE:
Becarefulnotto placehandsbetweenthehingeand
theovendoorframeas thehingecouldsnapback
andpinchfingers.
Whileworkingin theovenarea,coverthehinges
withtowelsor emptypapertowelrollsto prevent
pinchedfingersandchippingtheporcelainenamel
on theframe.
Toreplace the door,makesurethehingesare in the
specialstopposition.Positionthe slotsin thebottom
of thedoorsquarelyoverthehinges.Thenlowerthe
doorslowlyandevenlyoverbothhingesat the same
time.If hingessnapbackagainsttheovenframe,pull
thembackout.
TO CLEANTHE DOOR:
Inside of the door:
Becausetheareainsidethegasketis cleanedduring
theselfcleancycle,youdo notneedto cleanthisby
hand.Any soaplefton thelinercausesadditional
stainswhentheovenis heated.
Theareaoutsidethegasketcan be cleanedwitha
soap-filledscouringpad.
Do notrub orcleanthedoorgasket—thefiberglass
materialofthegaskethasan extremelylow
resistanceto abrasion.An intactandwell-fitting
ovendoorgasketis essentialfor energy-efficient
ovenoperationandgoodbakingresults,If you
noticethegasketbecomingworn,frayedor damaged
in anywayor if it hasbecomedisplacedon thedoor,
youshouldhaveit replaced.
NOTE: Thegasketis designedwitha gap at the
bottomto allowfor properaircirculation.

dry witha cleancloth.
Toremoveheavy,burned-on soil,usesoapymetal
pads.Afterscrubbing,washwithsoapywater,rinse
anddry.
Outside of the door:
Usesoapand waterto thoroughlycleanthetop,
sidesandfrontof theovendoor.Rinsewell.You
mayalsouse a glasscleanerto cleantheglasson the
outsideof thedoor.
Spillageof marinades,fruitjuices,tomatosauces
andbastingmaterialscontainingacidsmaycause
discolorationandshouldbe wipedup immediately.
Whensurfaceis cool,cleanandrinse.
Do notuseovencleaners,cleansingpowdersor
harshabrasiveson the outsideofthedoor.
The ovenshelvesmay be cleanedin selfcleaning
oven.However,theywilldarken,losetheirlusterand
becomehardto slide.Wipethe shelfsupportswith
cookingoilafterself-cleaningto makeshelvesslide
moreeasily.
