Lower Oven Light Bulb (onsomemodels)
NOTE:Theglasscover(onsomemodels)should
beremovedonlf/whencold Weannglatexgloves
mayofferabettergrip.
Before replacing the bull), discmmect
electricnl power to the oxen at the main
fllse or circuit breaker panel. I,et the
bulb cool completel,_ befi)re remoxing it.
For _,our safety do not touch a hot bulb
with a damp cloth. ]f_ou do tile bulb
will break.
Toremove:
Turn tile glass cover (o/mterclockwise
1/4 ttli'ii tlilfil tile tabs of tile glass cover
clear tile grooves of tile socket. Remove
the bulb.
Toreplace:
Put in a new 40-watt appliance bulb.
Place the tabs of the glass cover into the
grooves of the socket. Tm'n the glass
cover clockwise 1/4 turn.
NOTE"
A 40-watt appliancebulb issmallerthan a
standard40-watt householdbulb.
Instafl and tighten the cover clockwise.
Reconnecte/ectnca/power to the oven.
ForYnprovedlighting inside the oven,clean
the glasscover frequent/}/using a wet c/oth.
Thisshou/dbe donewhen the oven is
comp/ete/f/cool.

NOTE." The glass cover (on some
models) should be removed only when
cold. Wearing latex gloves may offer
a better grip.
CAUTION.Before replacing your
oven light bulb, disconnect the electrical
power to the oven at the main fuse or
circuit breaker panel
Be sm'e to let tile light cover and bulb
cool completely:
For )our salbb', do not touch a hot bulb
with bare hands or a damp cloth.
Toremove:
[] Turn tile glass co',er
co/mterclockwise 1/4 turn tmtil the
tabs of the glass cover clear the
grooxes of the socket.
Using gloves or a (l0 cloth, remoxe
[] tile bulb b)pulling it straight ()lit.
Toreplace:
[] Use a new 130-volt halogen bulb,
not to exceed 50 watts.
Using gloves or a
[] ., , , (hT cloth, remoxe
the bulb from its packaging. Do not
touch the bulb with bare finge_.
Receptacle
[] Push tile bulb straight into tile
receptacle all the way:
[] Place the tabs of the glass coxer into
the grooxes of the socket. Ttn'n the
glass cover clockwise 1/4 turn.
For improved lighting inside
tile oven, clean tile glass cover
fl'equently using a wet cloth. This
should be done when tile oven is
completely cool.
[] Recmmect electrical power to
the o_,en.
