8. Install Main-Breaker Lock-down
For Main Breaker Application, Lock-down kit (THQLRK3) must be installed as
shown:

9. Wire branch circuits
Individually wire each branch circuit wire into a circuit breaker and then firmly
plug each breaker into the interior.
Refer to label on circuit breaker for proper tightening torque. Use only General
Electric circuit breakers specified on the load center rating label. Use of other
circuit breakers or components will void the load center warranty, may void the
UL listing, and can result in property loss or personal injury.

10. Remove cover KO’s
Remove only enough knockouts to match the number of circuit breakers installed.
Close all unused opened KO spaces with Knockout Filler Plates (see catalog
numbers below)
Knockout Width ½” Catalog Number: TFH
Knockout Width 1” Catalog Number: TQLFP1
11. Important
Re-tighten all electrical connections before energizing
12. Screw front on box
Simply screw on cover for both flush and surface mounting
- For Flush mounting, if the breakers do not flush up to front, loosen box
mounting screws in slotted mounting holes to allow moving the box to the proper
position as shown in schematic below. Retighten mounting screws and screw on
cover.

13. Identify circuits
For user’s convenience.
NOTE: Accessories and replacement parts are listed on the label inside the load center
door.
Place Screw-driver here and
tap with hammer
- Insert Retainer-Clip through the plastic peg after mounting the Main-Breaker.
- Add Lock-Nut over largest diameter peg.
- Push the Metal flanges of the lock-nut into the plastic to ensure proper grip.
