As is true of most appliances, proper care is needed to give you continued
satisfaction. Before cleaning the compactor, turn the knob to the OFF
position and remove. If you will be away for more than a couple of days,
remove the compactor bag. Lock the compactor by removing the knob,
and store it in a safe place.
Stainless steel pmaels:
Stainless steel panels can be cleaned with
Cerama grvte ® or a similar product using a
clean, soft cloth.

To clean the drawer interior:
1. I/emove the bag. See page 9.
2. Wear protective gh)ves. There mav be bits of
glass in the drawer. Press the side door latch
down.
4. X_'ash with a clamI) cloth using warm, soapy
water. Rinse and then dry with a soft cloth.
5. If the drawer side was removed, slide it back
into the tilted position.
6. Press the side door latch down while pressing
the side to the upright position, i,ock the
side door latch.

Pull the drawer out until it stops. Note the
tracks in which the drawer rollers move.
I,ifl the fl'ont to clear the drawer stops. Grab
the drawer on both sides. Pull it ()tit the rest
of the wav and set it aside.
Hold the side door latch and tilt the side of
tile drawer until tile latch clears the drawer
fl'ont. The drawer side can be removed by
tilting and sliding it out.

Vacutun inside of the cabinet. I,iquid spills or
wet trash should be cleaned up by hand, or
use a xacutun designed to pick up liquid.

4. X4'ash, rinse and drx the inside.
