HouseParty 5 Please read before use.
Features:
■ Charges iPod / iPhone

Getting started:
■ Plug the power cable into the back of the
unit and then into the mains supply.
■ Press the power switch to ‘ON’ at the back
of the speaker.
■ Press on the unit (positioned just below the
symbol) or on the remote control to
power on.
■ Press and hold on the unit or press on
the remote control to power off.
For use with
iPod / iPhone:
■ Select and insert the correct docking adapter
to suit your iPod / iPhone.
N.B. Please ensure that you use the correct dock
adapter for your iPod / iPhone to avoid damage
to the dock connector. If the specific adapter is
not included, please use the adapter that was
provided by Apple with your iPod / iPhone.
GEAR4 will not be responsible for any damage
resulting in not using a dock adapter.
■ Carefully insert your iPod / iPhone into the
dock, it will start charging upon connection.
■ Press on the speaker or remote control to
play / pause your music.
■ Press / on the speaker or remote control
to adjust the volume.
■ Press on the speaker or remote
control to scan through tracks.
■ Use the MENU button on the remote control
to navigate through the iPod / iPhone menus.
■ Press the
and buttons on the remote
control to navigate the various features of the
iPod / iPhone menus.
■ Press the ENTER button on the remote
control to confirm your selection.
TO REPEAT TRACKS:
■ To repeat the current track – press on the
remote control once.
■ To repeat the whole album – press on the
remote control twice. Press again to cancel.
N.B. Status will be shown on the iPod screen.
