FreePad Control System
IQ2020 Spa Control System and the
FreePad.
Installing the Interface Module requires
the following:
1. Remove the equipment compartment
door of the spa.
2. Attach the Module to the spa
3. Attach the cable inside the IQ2020
control box.
If this procedure sounds too difficult,
have your authorized dealer install this
unit.
FreePad Control System
Limited Warranty
One Year Limited Warranty
Watkins Manufacturing Corporation
warranties to the original consumer
purchaser at retail that the FreePad
Control System, when installed in an
approaved Hot Spring

Spa model (2001
or later), shall be free from damage and
defects in material and workmanship for
a period of one (1) year from the date of
the original consumer purchase at retail.
Replacement of batteries is excluded
from this warranty.
Exent of Warranty
This warranty extends only to the original
cunsumer purchaser at retail of the
FreePad Control System and terminates
upon any transfer of ownership by the
original consumer purchaser prior to the
expiration of the warranty period.
Warranty Performance
In the event of any malfunction or defect
covered under the terms of this warranty,
a Factory Authorized Service Agent of
Watkins Manufacturing Corporation will
repair or replace the FreePad Control
System. Freight, transportation, and
labor required to effect the repair of the
FreePad Control System are not covered
under this warranty.
Watkins Manufacturing Corporation
maintains an extensive service network
throughout the United States and Canada.
In the event the consumer purchaser
should be unable to obtain either sevice
or satisfactory service from a Factory
Authorized Service Agent, notify the
service department of Watkins
Manufacturing Corporation. Written
notice of any malfunction or defect must
be given within ten (10) days of the time
the malfunction or defect is discovered,
and must be accompanied by the original
purchase receipt of the spas and the
FreePad Control System which shows a
date of purchase. Notice must be given to
Watkins Manufacturing Corporation.
Acts Invalidating Warranty
The warranty is void if the FreePad
Control System should be subjected to
alteration, misuse or abuse, or if any
repairs on the FreePad Control System
are attempted by anyone other than a
Factory Authorized Service Agent of
Watkins Manufacturing Corporation.
Misuse or abuse includes any operation
of the FreePad Control System other than
in accordance with Watkins
Manufacturing Corporation’s printed
instructions.
Disclaimers
Watkins Manufacturing Corporation shall
not be liable for loss of use of the
FreePad Control System or other
incidental or consequential costs,
expenses or damages. Any implied
warranty shall have the duration of the
applicable warranty stated above. Under
no circumstances shall Watkins
Manufacturing Corporation or any of its
representatives be held liable for injury
to any person or damage to any property,
however arising.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential
damages; therefore, the above restriction
may not apply.
