Connecting and Operating the PS/2 Extender

How to Connect the PS/2 Extender

1- Connect the supplied PS/2 cables from the computers PS/2 port into the PS/2

extender send unit.

2- Connect the CAT5 cable from the send unit to the receive unit.

3- Connect your keyboard and mouse in the PS/2 extender receiver unit.

4- Plug the 5 volt power supply into the PS/2 extender send unit. *

5- Restart your computer only after you’ve made all the connections.

* NOTE: The power supply is optional and is not required except when the +5V

level coming from the computer is below 4.0VDC tolerance.
