Introduction to the Configuration Utility
The Configuration Ut ilit y can be used t o change t he sett ings of t he Wireless Nd

PC Card or PCI Adapt er. I n t his area of t he User Guide you can read about t he
different ways to open t he Configuration Ut ilit y, how t o create a wireless
connection, and a brief overview of t he areas within the Configurat ion Ut ilit y.
Open the Configuration Utility
After t he product is installed, you should see a sm all icon for t he Configuration
Ut ilit y in t he system tray by your clock on your com puter deskt op. The Ut ilit y
icon's colour indicates the status of your wireless net work. Red indicates
disconnected, yellow indicates connected with poor quality, and green indicates
connected with good qualit y.
There are a few ways to access t he Configuration Ut ility and creat e a wireless
connection.
● Right - click t he Ut ilit y icon and click Ope n Ut ility. This opens the
Configuration Ut ilit y's W ire less N et w or k s t ab.
