Wireless Nd1 PC Card and PCI Adapter
connection is not working. I f aft er using t he I nt ernet Connection Diagnostic Ut ility and
following t he instruct ions in t he ut ilit y, your I nt ernet connection is still not working,
follow t he procedures below.
1. Verify t he wired or wireless connection to your rout er. I f your com put er cannot
com m unicate wit h t he rout er, it cannot access the I nt ernet .
2. Verify t hat your rout er is working. Refer to your rout er's docum ent at ion for
additional inform ation.
3. I f your router is working, verify t hat your rout er is connected connection t o
your Cable or DSL m odem . Your rout er m ust be connected to your m odem and
com m unicating wit h it .
4. Verify your m odem 's connection to the I nt ernet . I nt ernet service through your
I nternet service provider m ust be available.
Verify the Wireless connection to your router

2. Ensure t hat your com puter is connected to your rout er rather t han anot her
rout er, such as a neighbor's rout er. You can use the

your PC Card or PCI Adapt er is connected t o. I f it is connected t o t he wrong
rout er, you can use t he ut ility to force your PC Card or PCI Adapter t o t ry t o
