Wireless Nd1 PC Card and PCI Adapter
1. Ensure t hat an Ethernet cable is connected bet ween your rout er's WAN port and
the cable/ DSL m odem 's Et hernet port and that t he corresponding LEDs are lit.
2. Ensure t hat your cable/ DSL m odem is connected t o your wall j ack. ( A cable
m odem uses a coax cable, and a DSL m odem uses an RJ- 11 cable.)
3. Rest art your cable/ DSL m odem . ( There m ay be a power switch or reset butt on
on t he m odem or you m ay have t o unplug/ re- plug t he m odem 's power adapter.
Consult your m odem 's docum ent at ion.)
4. Reboot your rout er
5. After the rout er reboots and the LEDs on t he rout er have stabilized, if you still
cannot access t he I nternet , please st art at t he beginning of t his t utorial t o
det erm ine if there is a new point of failure. I t 's possible t hat your wireless
connection needs to be re- established.
6. I f t he rout er still does not have an I P address aft er repeating t his tut orial, the
problem m ay be with the cable/ DSL m odem or your I SP. Please cont act your
I SP's Custom er Support.
