I did not originally enable any form of encryption when I set up the router
in my home, but now I want to secure my wireless network; what do I do?
1. St art the router configurat ion pages by opening a Web browser and t yping

2. Go t o t he
Se curit y page and look for your W ire less sett ings.

Select a Wireless Met hod from t he drop-down m enu and enter t he appropriat e
inform at ion.
4. When you are done selecting these opt ions, click Save at t he bot tom of the page.
5. Enable t he appropriat e encryption option and ent er t he encryption set t ings on
each wireless client in your net work. I f you do not enter t he correct set tings, t hat
wireless client will not be able to access the rout er.
You should now have a secured wireless net work. I f you experience any difficult ies,
refer to the
Security sect ion in t his User Guide for m ore det ailed inform ation about the
Security set t ings.
