than that furnished by t he responsible party shall be used wit h t he device. The use of a
perm anent ly at t ached ant enna or of an ant enna that uses a unique coupling to the
intentional radiat or shall be considered sufficient t o com ply wit h t he provisions of this
sect ion. The m anufacturer m ay design t he unit so that a broken ant enna can be
replaced by the user, but t he use of a st andard ant enna jack or electrical connect or is
prohibited.
