RAINTIGHT POWER INLET BOXES
During a power outage, you can avoid
running your generator cord through a
door or window. This power inlet box
makes using your generator more
convenient.
FEATURES:
 Four Configurations – 20, 30 and 50 amps
 Raintight Design – Since generator
connection is made underneath the box,
retains raintight “while in use” rating when
generator cord is connected.
 UL Listed – Tested and certified to UL
Standard 231 for power outlets. Circuit
breakers are UL489 Listed when included.
 Simple installation -NEMA 3R-Rated cabinet
is suitable for surface mounting outdoors.
Ground post is incorporated into enclosure. ½”
and ¾” knockouts provided on sides and back
for hardwiring to generator or transfer switch.
 Durable –Corrosion-resistant aluminum
enclosure provides long life.
 Must be installed at least 24” above ground.
 Must be installed with a Listed transfer switch.
 24 Month warranty on parts and workmanship
 Dimensions: 6” W x 5-3/4” H x 4-7/8” D

dead front when one is required by your inspector or local codes.
Certain inspectors consider a permanently installed generator as
a structure, and therefore require a rated service disconnect at
the point of entry. All models provided with a circuit breaker have
a 10,000 A short circuit rating to comply with NEC Article 215-3
for Overcurrent Protection for Feeders.
