6. Using the Camera
1) Overview
Taking photos and recording videos using the integrated digital cameras.
2) Opening the Camera app and adjusting the settings
To open the Camera app, touch camera on the Home screen.
A. Taking a photo
(1) Open the Camera app.
(2) Verify single photo mode is selected.
(3) Center the object you want to take a photo of on the live preview screen.
(4) Touch capture icon to capture the photo.
(5) Swipe left on the touch screen to view the captured photo. From the film strip screen you can
- View the captured photo.
- Touch More to access editing options, delete, view details.
- Swipe left or right to scroll through your other photos or videos.
(6) Press the Back button to return to the Camera app.
B. Recording video
(1) Open the Camera app.
(2) Swipe right on the touch screen to select video mode.
(3) Point the camera lens at the scene or object you want to capture in video.
(4) To start capturing video, touch right icon.
(5) To stop capturing video, touch right icon.
(6) Press the Back button to return to the Camera app.
C. adjusting the settings
The camera/video settings are adjustable from within the Camera app.
(1) Zoom
- To zoom in or out, press two fingers on the display and pinch or expand fingers. The zoom
controls appear on the screen. (capacitive touch panel only)
