The octagonal shape is perfect for rounded catchlights. A removable interior baffle and a diffuser are included to control the level of diffusion for soft and even wraparound lighting that’s perfect for portraits and video interviews.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Instructions To attach the softbox to the SpectroLED 14 Flood Light, follow these instructions carefully. Be patient—this setup can take several minutes. 3 1. Lay the fabric shell on a table or flat surface, with the touch flaps open and the silver interior facing up. 2. Place the light in the center of the softbox so the light is pointing up. 3. Slide a flex rod through a sleeve along the inner seam of the softbox. 4.
5. Bend the flex rod until its tip fits into the pocket at the edge of the sofbox. 5 Instructions 6. Insert the second flex rod through the sleeve and into the hole opposite the first rod. Then bend it until the tip of the rod is in the pocket. 7. Attach the next two rods at 90 degrees from the first two rods. Once installed, the softbox will start to take shape.
Instructions 8. Attach the remaining rods by inserting them through the sleeves and fitting the tips into the end pockets. Then turn the fixture over so the black exterior is facing up. Firmly bend the rods until they fit into the corresponding holes at the base of the fixture. 8 9. Once all of the flex rods have been attached to the floodlight, close the touch flaps that will prevent light from spilling out of the fixture.
10 Instructions 10. If you’re using the interior baffle, attach it to the interior of the softbox by clipping it to the elastic loops on each seam. 11. Attach the front diffuser by fitting the black edge over the softbox.
