Operation
Hitch Coupler Adjustment
1. Close latch of coupler with ball in socket. Verify
locking trigger is properly engaged in its detent.
2. See Figure 3-18. Tighten lock nut (A) on underside
of coupler until spring (B) between nut and clamp
(C) is fully compressed. Loosen lock nut one-half
turn or just enough so latch is able to clamp and
unclamp from ball.
