Place the power washer outdoors, in an area that wilt not
accumulatedeadly exhaustgas. NEVERplace the power washer
where exhaust gas could accumulate and enter inside, or be
drawn into a potentially occupied building. Ensure the exhaust
gas is kept away from any windows, doors, ventilation intakes,
or other openings that can allow the exhaustgas to collect in a
confined area. Prevailingwinds and air currents should be taken
into considerationwhen positioningthe powerwasher (Figure19).
OperatethepowerwasheroutdoorsONLY.
Keepthe exhaustgas from enteringa confinedareathrough
windows,doors,ventilationintakes,or otheropenings.
NEVERstart or run the engineindoors,or in an enclosedarea,
EVENIFwindowsanddoorsareopen.

CHECKLISTBEFORESTARTINGENGINE
1. Be sure to read and understandthe OperatorSafety section
andthe Operationsection before using the power washer.
2. Check that oil is at the proper level in the enginecrankcase
andthat fuel has beenaddedto the fuel tank.
3. Reviewthe unit'sassemblyandensurethe fittings areproperly
secured.Also make surethere areno kinks, cuts, or damage
to high pressurehose.
4. Provide a proper water supply at an adequateflow, clear
screensof debris,andconfirm that the systemis purgedof air.
5. Confirm that the unit is on secure, level ground and the
surroundingwork areais clear.
HOW TOSTARTYOURPOWERWASHER
NOTE:
DO NOTrun the pumpwithoutthe water supplyconnectedand
turnedon. Damageto the equipment resultingfrom failure to
follow theseinstructionswill voidwarranty.
1. Movethe fuel valve leverto the ON position (Figure20).
