• Beforestartingthe power washer,be sure you are wearing
adequatesafetygoggles.
• NEVERsubstitutesafetyglassesfor safetygoggles.
Connectlanceto spraygun (Figure9). Tightenby hand.

7. Turn ON the water, squeezethe trigger to purge the pump
system of air (Figure12).

• NEVERconnecthighpressurehoseto lance.
• Keephighpressurehoseconnectedto pumpandspraygunwhile
systemis pressurized.
• Alwaysbecertainspraygun,nozzlesandaccessoriesarecorrectly
attached.
6. Connect high pressure hose to pump (uncoil hose before
connecting to pump or spray gun) (Figure 11). Tighten by
hand.

,_The hosecanbedamaged if it comesin contactwitha
hotengineor muffler.
HOW TOUSENOZZLES
The quick-connect on the nozzle lance allows you to switch
between different nozzles.Nozzlescan be changed while power
washer is runningonce spray gun trigger is locked in the safety
position. The nozzles vary the pressure and spray pattern as
shown.
Formost effectivecleaning,keepnozzlefrom 8to 24 inches(20
to 61 cm) awayfrom cleaningsurface.
If you get nozzletoo close, especially using a high pressure
nozzle,you may damagesurface being cleaned.
The highpressurestreamof water that this equipment
producescancutthroughskinand its underlying
tissues,leadingto serious injuryand possible
amputation.
• NEVERexchangenozzleswithoutthetriggerlockbeingengagedon
thespraygun.
• DONOTtwistnozzleswhilespraying.
