MAINTENANCERECOMMENDATIONS
Regular maintenance wilt improve the performance and extend
the life of the powerwasher. Seeany qualifieddealerfor service.
The powerwasher's warrantydoesnot cover itemsthat havebeen
subjected to operator abuse or negligence.To receivefull value
from the warranty, the operator must maintainthe power washer
as instructed in this manual, including proper storageas detailed
in WinterStorageand Long TermStorage.
NOTE:

assistance.
Some adjustmentswill needto be made periodicallyto properly
maintainyour power washer.
All service and adjustments should be made at least once each
season. Follow the requirements in the Maintenance Schedule
chart.
NOTE:
Once a yearyoushouldcleanor replacethe sparkplug, clean
or replace the air filter, and checkthe spraygun and nozzle
extension assemblyfor wear.A new sparkplugand clean air
filter assure properfuel-air mixtureand help yourengine run
better and lastlonger.
MAINTENANCESCHEDULE
Follow the hourly or calendar intervals, whichever occurs first.
More frequent service is required when operating in adverse
conditions.

PUMPOIL
DONOTattemptany oil maintenanceon this pump. The pump is
pre-lubricatedand sealedfrom the factory, requiringno additional
maintenancefor the life of the pump.
EMISSIONSCONTROL
Maintenance,replacement,or repair of the emissions control
devicesand systemsmaybe performedby any non-roadengine
repair establishmentor individual. However, to obtain "no
charge" emissions control service, the work must be performed
by afactory authorizeddealer.Seethe EmissionsWarranty.
POWERWASHERMAINTENANCE
CleanDebris
Daily or before use, clean accumulated debris from cleaning
system. Keep linkage, spring and controls clean. Keep area
around and behind muffler free from any combustible debris.
Inspectcooling air slots and openingson the power washer.These
openingsmust be keptclean and unobstructed.
Power washer parts should be kept clean to reduce the risk of
overheatingand ignition of accumulateddebris.
Usea damp cloth to wipe exteriorsurfaces clean.
NOTE:
impropertreatment of powerwashercan damage it and
shortenits life.
DONOTinsert any objects through cooling slots.
Usea soft bristlebrush to loosen cakedon dirt, oil, etc.
Usea vacuum cleanerto pick up loose dirt anddebris.
CHECKANDCLEANINLETSCREEN
Examinethe screenonthe pump's waterinlet.Cleanit if the screen
is clogged or replaceit if screenis damaged.
CHECKHIGHPRESSUREHOSES
The high pressurehosescan developleaksfrom wear,kinking, or
abuse.Inspectthe hoses each time before usingthem. Checkfor
cuts, leaks, abrasionsor bulging of cover,damage or movement
of couplings. If any of these conditions exist, replace the hose
immediately.
Thehighpressurestream of water that thisequipment
producescancutthroughskinand its underlying
tissues,leadingtoseriousinjuryand possible
amputation.
NEVERrepair high pressurehose. Replaceit.
Replacement hose rating MUST meet or exceed maximum
pressure ratingof unit.
