into place when you releaseit. Replacespray gun immediatelyif
it fails to "spring back".
NOZZLEMAINTENANCE
A pulsing sensation felt while squeezingthe spray gun trigger
may becaused by excessivepump pressure. The principal cause
of excessive pump pressure is a nozzle clogged or restricted
with foreign materials, such as dirt, etc. To correct the problem,
immediatelycleanthe nozzlefollowing these instructions:
1. Shut off engineandturn off water supply.
2. ALWAYSpoint spray gun in a safe direction, squeezespray
gun trigger to releaseretainedhighwater pressure.
The highpressurestream of water thatthis equipment
producescancutthroughskinand itsunderlying

amputation.Spray gun trapshighwater pressure,even
whenengine isstoppedand water isdisconnected,

additives.
Outdoor temperaturesdeterminethe proper oil viscosity for the
engine. Usethe chart to select the best viscosity for the outdoor
temperaturerangeexpected.
5. Removelancefrom spraygun.
6. Using a garden hose, remove additional debris by back
flushing waterthrough lance (Figure29). Backflush between

Temperature Range of Expected Use
* Below 50°F (10°C) the use of SAE 30 will result in hardstarting.
** Above 80°F (27°C) the use of 10W30 may cause increased oil consumption.
Check oil level morefrequently.
