The single Green LED shows the connection status. The green LED will be
illuminated when you are connected to the Internet.
& Transmit and Receive Indicator (1 LEDs)
The LED show data transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) activity. The LEDs will
flicker when data is transferring.
Power Button
Press the power button for one second to turn the modem on. The red LED of
the will illuminate when the unit is ON.
Antenna
The antenna to its vertical position to connect the PC Interface Cable. When
the antenna is vertical, it receives signals equally in all directions. Place the
antenna in the vertical position (as shown in Figure 1) when the Wireless
Broadband Modem is in use, and in the down position (adjacent to the body of
the Wireless Broadband Modem) when not in use. Do not force the antenna
beyond its vertical position.
Signal Strength (1 LEDs)
The 4 yellow LEDs on the left of the display indicate the radio signal strength.
When only the bottom yellow LED is illuminated, you have minimum signal
strength required to transmit and receive data. Each subsequent LED
indicates increasing signal strength. When all 4 LEDs are illuminated you
have maximum signal strength at which time you can transfer data at the
maximum speed of the Wireless Broadband Modem, or at the service level
you have selected.
Patch Connector [Optional]
A patch antenna can be connected to the Wireless Broadband Modem via the
Patch Connector. The need for a patch antenna will normally occur when the
network coverage is not sufficient for the standard antenna to obtain sufficient
signal.
