Appendix D – Modem Display
Warnings
The Wireless Broadband Modem LED display contains 2 individual LEDs, as
shown in Figure 1, used to indicate various activities on the modem, such as
ON/OFF, current signal strength, data traffic activity and network connection
status.
However if the modem experiences certain error conditions the display will be
used to signal the condition back to the user.

Figure 13 shows the Modem LED Display fully illuminated.
In normal operation 4 yellow LEDs on the left are used for the signal strength,
the red power LED indicates ON/OFF, the green data transfer LED is used to
show network connection status and the 2 amber transmit / receive LEDs are
used to indicate base station search and data traffic activity.
