UNPACKING, ASSEMBLY and SHAPING
1) Before you start to assemble your tree, choose a location near a wall outlet.
2) Carefully remove contents from the carton. Contents will include:
 a) Palm Tree Top Section
 b) Pole(s)
 c) Tree Stand
 d) Extra Bulbs/Fuses
DO NOT DISCARD CARTON!, Use for Tree Storage.
3) Insert the bottom pole into the stand body. Press firmly into place. Insert tapered end of middle
 pole into the bottom pole. Reach into Palm Tree top and find metal ended rod and insert it
 into top cap of middle pole. Plug in the light set from the tree top into the pole light set.
 Then, plug the light set from the bottom pole into a standard 120V AC outlet.
4) Hide any loose lightset wire from (1) the two poles joining or (2) where the Palm Tree top joined
 the middle pole by CAREFULLY tucking it under the pole wrap.
5) Your entire tree should now be lit. If some bulbs do not light, search for any broken or loose
 plugs or missing bulbs.

6) Keep tree plugged in while shaping your tree. Should a light flicker while doing this, check for
 the bulb that may have caused the trouble.
7) Begin to shape the top by pulling each limb from the center and distributing them evenly around
 the center. Then, work from the longest limbs to the shortest limbs, bending them into a
 downward curve.
8) After shaping the tree following the previous steps, step back and take an overall look
 at the tree. Shift limbs to fill any gaps.
DISASSEMBLY and STORAGE
1) Unplug light set from wall outlet.
2) Unplug the top and pole light sets from each other.
3) Gently lift off the top. Remove the pole(s) from the stand.
4) Carefully place the tree back in the storage carton and tape it shut. Store carton in a cool,
 dry place where the temperature does not exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
