Quick-release bag clamps with metal

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE CONNECTING THE MACHINE TO THE POWER SOURCE, VERIFY THAT THE VOLTAGE OF YOUR POWER SUPPLY CORRESPONDS WITH THE VOLTAGE SPECIFIED ON THE MOTOR I.D. NAMEPLATE. A POWER SOURCE WITH GREATER VOLTAGE THAN NEEDED CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY TO THE USER AS WELL AS DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE. UNPACKING AND PREPARATION FOR SET-UP & ASSEMBLY SAFETY ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SET-UP & ASSEMBLY Use caution and wear gloves when handling me-tal parts such as the belt clamps, which can cut if handled carelessly. The model 10-105 is a heavy machine (106 Lbs. shipping weight - 48 kg.) Do not overexert. Arran-ge to have help nearby and ready for unpacking and set up. The sound level of this machine is rated at ap-proximately 80 to 85 db during operation.

SHOP PLACEMENT / SPACE CONSIDERATIONS Because each shop situation is unique, the following factors should be taken into consideration when determining and before deciding on the ideal installation to best suit your shop dust collection needs. Consider the space requirements for the unit and its use when deciding where to install your dust collector in your shop. The unit should be installed as close to the dust source(s) as possible.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS • SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY COULD OCCUR IF YOU CONNECT THE MACHINE TO THE POWER SOURCE BEFORE YOUR HAVE COMPLETED THE SET UP PROCESS. DO NOT HOOK-UP THE MACHINE TO A POWER SOURCE UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO. • BE SURE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS ENTIRE MANUAL. • USE CAUTION AND WEAR GLOVES WHEN HANDLING METAL PARTS SUCH AS THE BELT CLAMPS, WHICH CAN CUT IF HANDLED CARELESSLY. • THE SOUND LEVEL OF THIS MACHINE IS RATED AT APPROXIMATELY 80-85 DB DURING OPERATION.

STEP 5 - A TTACH THE BAG HANGER TO THE DRUM – MODEL 10-105 M1 only E F STEP 6 - ATTACH THE GASKET AND DUST OUTLET TO FAN/ MOTOR ASSEMBLY Note: Do not overtighten the bolts or the threaded holes in the base will strip and/or the gasket will squeeze out and the outlet will crack. H G Install the bag hanger E onto the drum as shown in F. Place the gasket on top of the fan/motor assembly, G, then place the dust outlet on the gasket and secure in place using 8 bolts, H.

STEP 11 - FIT THE CANISTER FILTER ONTO THE DRUM STEP 12 - INSTALL FOAM GASKET (IF NEEDED) – MODEL 10-105CF M1 ONLY L K N M If you have model 10-105 M1 with filter bag skip ahead to step #12. Fit the canister filter onto the drum as shown in K and use the second belt clamp to secure the canister to the drum, L. Tip/Hint: To seat the canister on the rim of the drum, run a flat piece of wood (such as a ruler) between the drum and the black apron on the bottom of the canister, M.

ON/OFF SWITCH The model 10-105 M1 & 10-105CF M1 are equipped with a simple “rocker style” On/Off switch featuring a removable lock out safety key. To prevent unauthorized use or unintentional start-up, remove the safety key and store it in a safe place whenever the dust collector is not in use. To start the dust collector, insert the safety key and pull up the switch. To stop the machine, push down on the power switch.

CLEANING OR REPLACING THE FILTER BAGS (10-105 M1 only) TURN THE SWITCH TO THE “OFF” POSITION AND UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE POWER SOURCE BEFORE CLEANING OR REPLACING FILTER BAGS OR BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE. Tip/Hint: To avoid potentially costly down-time, consider keeping a spare filter bag on-hand and nearby for use if needed. After a period of time depending on the frequency of use, the filter bag may become clogged and affect airflow as well the overall efficiency of the unit.
