8. Firmware Update
Press the “POWER “ button to turn off the device before updating (NOTE: Press and hold
the “POWER “ button for at least 5seconds if the device can not be turned on normally).
Insert the Driver CD and copy the file named “MTK Android Upgrade Tool” to your
computer desktop (NOTE: The device can not be updated directly from CD), Then Open
file “ ” in Folder “SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1244.0.sn85”,:
Click the “Scatter-loading” in this current window and choose
“MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt” on the “Upgrade file” folder, click open, as shown
in the picture below
