9.10 V-belt Transmission
A v-belt transmission is allowed only for versions without a reducer unit.
For this pump model, we suggest to use 4 XPB belts (16.5 x 13 cogged); only for long durations, use the XPC profile; both
the characteristics and the power transmission capacity for each belt can be verified on the diagram in fig. 8, in function of
the number of rotations normally declared by the Manufacturer, Minimum diameter of the driven pulley (on the pump shaft):
≤ 250 mm.
The radial load on the shaft must not be greater than 7500 N (value required for the definition of the Lay-out). The
transmission is considered adequate if this load is applied at a maximum distance of a=40 mm from the shaft shoulder
(P.T.O.) as indicated in fig. 11.
