4. Align top and bottom of the eyelet pliers so that the flat finished side of your
eyelet sits in the flat slightly curved bottom of the pliers and the tube of the
eyelet is aligned with the top “pointed” side of the pliers. (See photo 3)

5. Push the eyelet through the hole so that the flat part of the eyelet is up
against the smooth side of the work material, and the eyelet tube is showing
through the “rough” side. (See photo 4)

6. Squeeze the pliers slowly and firmly to bend the edges of the eyelet tube over
and into the rough” side of the work material. (See photo 5)
