Choose OFF to disable the Auto Power Off function (not recommended except when recording long videos
or viewing saved videos and pictures on a PC via a USB link).
Choose 5 MINUTES, 10 MINUTES, 15 MINUTES or 30 MINUTES to automatically power off the DCS2000
after any period of front-panel inactivity of that duration. When your selection is highlighted, press the
OK button to save the setting and return to the Main Menu.
The term highlighted in green can be increased or decreased by one unit by each press of the and
buttons, respectively. After changing a setting (or leaving it unchanged), press the button to
advance to the next field or the button to return to the previous field.
1) Begin with the current year, month and day,
2) Continue with the current hour, minute and second,
3) Continue by choosing your preferred date format: MM/DD/YY, YY/MM/DD, or DD/MM/YY.
4) Finish by selecting NO on the bottom line of the submenu if you do not want time stamps to appear on
screen, or YES if you want time stamps to appear.
5) Press the OK button to save your selection(s) and return to the Main Menu.

Choose 5 MINUTES, 10 MINUTES, 20 MINUTES or 30 MINUTES as the duration of short, sequential video
clips to record instead of one longer video
Choose READER to enable PC access to the DC2000’s SD card as an external
memory resource via the included USB cable
Choose NTSC in North America, Central America, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Choose PAL in Europe,
Africa and much of Asia and Africa. When your selection is highlighted, press the OK button to save the
setting and return to the Main Menu.
