Double insulated tools are equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install a polarized outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of an accidental start up which may cause personal injury. • Store idle tool out of reach of children and other inexperienced persons. It is dangerous in the hand of untrained users. • Maintain power tools with care.
• If you are using an extension cord outdoors, be sure it is marked with the suffix “W-A” (“W” in Canada) to indicate that it is acceptable for outdoor use. • Be sure your extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition. Always replace a damaged extension cord or have it repaired by a qualified person before using it. • Protect your extension cords from sharp objects, excessive heat, and damp or wet areas.
