4.5 System menu

The system menu is used to configure miscellaneous camera

functions.

4.5.1 Language

See section 2.5.2 “Setting the language”.

4.5.2 Format

Use this function to format the current storage media. This format

action will delete everything on the media.

1. Turn on the video camera and switch to SET mode.

2. Use the joystick to highlight the Format option. Press the

center joystick button to display the submenu.

3. Use the joystick to select OK or Cancel, and press the

center joystick button to confirm.

4. The current media (memory card or internal memory) is

formatted.
