Troubleshooting
START
Is there live video feed
visible on the display screen?
Does Display turn o after
taken out of reverse?
Are there any “dead” pixels
(solid color dots or lines)
in the screen?
Does the mirror dim
while in reverse?
Mirror is functioning
properly.

Is there car ON and in reverse?
Is the mirror sending +6 V
& Ground to Camera?
Does the image appear
grainy or staticy?
Is the GREEN light illuminated?
Is the mirror receiving
+12 V from Ignition, +12 V from
Reverse signal, & proper
Ground?
Is the camera receiving
+6 V & Ground?
Turn Ignition ON
and put vehicle
in reverse.
ENSURE:
1. EC mirror harness
power wire is
securely tapped
into OEM harness.
2. Ignition and
Reverse wires are
receiving +12 V.
3. Ground wire is
securely attached
to a vehicle ground.
Replace Harness
& Camera
Is the ORANGE light illuminated?
Press and hold the
“ ” button for up to
6 seconds.

1. EC mirror harness

to a vehicle ground.
