30 - Exporting the job sheets on AutoCAD DXF
Data exporting and sharing
Exporting procedures allow to export points, drawings and other information on files in
different extensions to be used in other applications.
Exporting procedures allow to specify the name of the file to export and the exportation folder; press
the button to change the name of the file and to select the exportation folder. The button
allows to di select, as exportation folder, a cloud server service correctly installed and
available in the system.
After having specified the name of the file and the exportation folder, it’s possible to specify the job
sheet to export; the content of the job sheets must be exported in separate manner.
At last it’s possible to activate the option Share to send the file attached to an e-mail message.
Exporting the job sheets on AutoCAD DXF
There are available different exporting options:
DXF version
AutoCAD DXF format
Drawing export
Allows to export all elements of the job sheet (lines, circles, arcs, …)
Surfaces export
Allows to export also surfaces present in the job sheet.
3D exportation
It’s exported a DXF file containing all elements of the job sheet with the
3D coordinates (file with suffix _3D).
2D exportation
It’s exported a DXF file containing all elements of the job sheet with the
only XY coordinates (file with suffix _2D).
Front exportation
It’s created a DXF file containing main front that have been
automatically identified (files with suffix _front). XPAD 3D analyzes
the content of the job sheet and identifies the main planes that have
been measured; on every plane the other near elements are projected
and this way the relative front is generated.
About the exportation of the points there are available instead the following options:
Export points
Allows to export the points present in the job sheet.
Export as block
The points are exported as AutoCAD blocks with attributes.
Export photo
The points having a photo associated are exported with the link to the
file of their photo; this way, in AutoCAD, clicking on the link present
near the point it’s possible to open the photo.
Press Export to start exportation. If the option Share has been activated, it will be asked the sharing
mode.
