Stakeout of points and lines
Stakeout procedures allow to provide information to the user, in graphic an numeric
format, to reach a point, an element or, more in general, a known position. They are
available many options and operative modes. Before proceeding with stakeout it’s
necessary to define the position of Zoom3D to guarantee correct correspondence between
surveyed positions and stakeout positions.
1. Since points and drawing to stakeout are organized in job sheets, it’s necessary to select the job
sheet containing the points and the drawing to stakeout.
2. It’s visualized the graphic window containing the points and the drawing saved in the selected
job sheet.
Stakeout of points
1. Select the point to stakeout from the graphic window.
2. Press Start.
3. If the type of target is Spot, Zoom3D will rotate automatically toward the point to stakeout.
4. Press to start the measure; it’s possible also to use the continuous measure .
5. In the lower part of the window are visualized the information related to movement to reach
the stakeout point and the distance. It’s possible to use the view of the camera, the graphic
view or both.
6. Press Accept to confirm the stakeout of the point; it’s proposed again the graphic view to allow
selection of the next point to stakeout. The point staked is marked with symbol .
Next point to stakeout
It’s possible to select the next point to stakeout. Press the button and then first button of the
window Stakeout tools. Options are:
Next point
it’s selected as point to stakeout the next point, referring to current point,
among the ones present in the job sheet not yet staked.
Previous point
it’s selected as point to stakeout the previous point, referring to current point,
among the ones present in the job sheet not yet staked.
Nearest point
it’s selected as point to stakeout the nearest point, referring to current point,
among the ones present in the job sheet not yet staked.
Manual selection
no point is selected but it’s proposed again the graphic view to select manually
