How to use: This product is for household use only. GETTING STARTED • Remove all packing material and, if applicable, any stickers from the product; remove and save literature. • For additional information go to www.georgeforemancooking.com. • Go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty. • Wash plate in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Note: Although the plate is dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand washing to preserve its appearance.
USING YOUR GRIDDLE PLATE 1. Plug in the grill and press the power button to turn on. 2. Set your desired cooking temperature and allow grill to preheat for at least 5 minutes. 3. Using a pot holder, carefully open the preheated grill. 4. Place food to be cooked on the griddle plate. Note: Do not overload the cooking plate. 5. Close the grill cover. Important: Do not leave the appliance unattended during use. 6. Set the countdown timer to cook for your desired time.
CARE AND CLEANING CLEANING THE GRIDDLE PLATE 1. Before cleaning, unplug grill from wall outlet and allow to cool. Caution: Do not remove the plates while the appliance is hot. Always allow them to cool to room temperature before removing or cleaning. 2. To remove the plates, pull out on the release handles on plate sides and remove from the grill. 3. The plates can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand with hot, soapy water.
