GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST

DIRECTIONS
1. In a small saucepan, whisk together maple syrup, maple extract, brown sugar, oil, garlic,
lemon juice, salt and pepper over medium-high heat. Bring to boil, whisking occasionally
until sauce begins to thicken, about 1-2 minutes.
2. Remove marinade from heat and add thyme. Allow to cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
3. Place chicken in large bowl and pour maple marinade over top.
4. Cover and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to marinate.
5. Preheat GEORGE FOREMAN
®
grill by plugging it in, setting it to max or 400°F.
6. Remove chicken, discarding thyme, and place on preheated grill. Grill for 6-10 minutes
(depending on thickness), or until chicken reaches internal temperature of 165°F.
7. Serve hot with your favorite vegetable or starch.

¼ cup pure maple syrup
2 tsp. maple extract
2 Tbsp. packaged brown sugar
¼ cup olive oil
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
½ large lemon, juiced
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
3-4 sprigs fresh thyme
1.5-2 lbs. chicken breasts (about
1” thick)
