PREPARATION

FOR INSTALLATION (

Fig.1)

Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If

necessary, remove the old fixture including the

mounting hardware.

Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and

check that all parts are included as shown in the

illustration.

SUGGESTED INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

3. Align cloth shade (G) onto nipple (H) on top of

the

fixture body.

Determine the desired hanging height and thread

rods (F1, F2 and F3) into the nipple (H) to secure

cloth shade (G). Carefully pass the wires through

each rod during assembly.

5. Attach canopy (D) by screwing onto rod (F1).

Note:

remove the nipple if installing with one 6” rod only.

Attach circular strap (A) to the outlet box using

mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-

32N*L0.5”). The side

of the circular strap marked “GND” must face out.

7. Thread studs (C) into the pre-

drilled holes in circular

strap (A) spaced the same distance apart as the

holes in canopy (D).

The length of studs (C) into

circular strap (A) may be adjusted if necessary.

CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)

8. At this point,

connect the electrical wires as shown in

figure 2

, making sure that all wire connectors are

secured.

If your outlet has a ground wire (green or

bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it

Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire

directly

to the circular strap using the green screw provided.

9. Tuck the wire connectors

neatly into the ceiling

junction box.

COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

10. Align canopy

(D) to studs (C) and secure with cap

nuts (E).

11.

Install the light bulb(s) (O) (not included

) in

accordance with the fixture’s specifications.

(DO NOT

EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!) (NE PAS

DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

12. Secure nipple (J) into coupling (K).

13. Align spacer (L) followed by glass shield

(M) onto

nipple (K) and secure with finial (N).

14.

Your installation is now complete. Return power to

the junction box and test the fixture.
