Installs the OSD utility that provides a graphic display
to indicate the current status of certain operations. This
OSD utility is an option for you. You can decide
whether you would like to have this utility installed.

Using the OSD Utility
NOTES: This OSD utility is an option for you. You can decide whether you would like to
have this utility installed.
With the OSD utility installed, the utility will be activated and the utility
icon
will appear on the system tray every time Windows starts up.
A graphic display will appear on the screen to indicate the current status
of certain operations (as listed next).
Operation OSD Description
Fn+F1 Icon and text appear on the screen to indicate that
wireless LAN radio is on or off.
Fn+F3
Fn+F4
A bar appears on the screen whenever you press these
hotkeys to adjust the volume level.
Fn+F5 Icon and text appear on the screen to indicate the current
display output.
Fn+F6
Fn+F7
A bar appears on the screen to indicate the brightness
level.
AC in/ out Icon and text appear on the screen to indicate that the AC
power cord has been connected or disconnected.
NOTES: No matter which operation you are using, the graphic display will appear on
screen for only a few seconds.
