Overview of your new PDP (Scart type)
SCART 2 = SCART 2 (Euro connector)
SCART 1 = SCART 1 (Euro connector)

Connecting
With the SCART cable
Connect a SCART cable to the SCART socket of the video recorder and the PDP.
With S-Video
Connect an S video cable to the S video socket of the video recorder and the PDP.
Connect the left cable (white) and the right audio cable (red) (composite) to the audio sockets of the video recorder and of the
PDP.
With AV Input
Connect a composite cable with the AV video socket of the video recorder and the PDP.
Connect the left cable (white) and the right audio cable (red) (composite) to the audio sockets of the video recorder and of the
PDP.
Watching videos
1. Press the INPUT button on the remote control and select the video source.
2. Place a video cassette in the video recorder and press the PLAY button on the video recorder.
Notes:
• To prevent image interference, leave sufficient space (more than 3 m) between the video recorder and the TV set.
• On connecting external devices to the PDP, always ensure that the colours of the connections match (e.g. video-yellow, audio (L) - white, audio (R)
- red).
• If you have only a mono video recorder, connect the audio cable of the video recorder to the AUDIO (L/MONO) input of the PDP. • You can
achieve a better image quality than with normal video input (AV) by connecting an S-VHS video recorder to the S-VIDEO input socket (AV).
Avoid fixed images over a long period. Such burnt-in images come mostly from video films in the 4:3 image format or if programme
information is being shown.
