Before you a call a service technician, please scan this list of problems and possible solutions. It may save
you time and money.

Picture is too bright or too dark
Picture is too large or too small
No sound to be heard from the speakers
Strange sounds from the monitor
Check whether the monitor is turned on.
Power cord inserted into wall outlet?
Plug the power cord from another device into the wall outlet
where the monitor was connected.
Press the VOLUME ( ) button.
Check the audio input signal.
Check if something has fallen into the monitor.
Display and remote control cause this obstruction.
Check if the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
Select the item Colour in the Picture menu and press VOLUME
button.
Maintain a certain distance between the monitor and the video
recorder.
Activate the appropriate function to restore the brightness.
Check whether both the monitor and the source are plugged into
the mains and turned on.
Adjust the brightness and contrast settings.
Adjust the Size settings.
Adjust Balance in the Sound menu.
Typical sound due to the normal monitor operation. The monitor
is not faulty.
